The Greatest Game I've ever played!!!!

If you love detective games you will love emerald city confidential. Journey to the land of Oz and find dorthy's fiance. You will also solve other crimes along the way. You can't die so you are free to enjoy the game without starting over. You choose the questions to ask and you might have to do some odd task to get the answers you want. Anyway this is a great game and I would recommend it to anyone. P.S. Beware of the lion!Emerald City Confidential [Game Download]
This isn't the Oz you grew up reading about or watching on your TV...

Reviewer: Lana Wilde,
This game was amazing! If you love The Wizard of Oz, or The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, or Wicked, or really anything dealing with Baum's universe, you'll love this game. The film noir feel of Emerald City Confidential also makes it fun. As a previous reviewer stated, if you like detective stories and games, you're sure to love this. Obviously, this isn't the kind of graphics you would get on a game that you would be at a store, but you don't even think about it being a cartoon. The backgrounds are lush and gorgeous. Gameplay is addicting--I played the entire thing in one day. The time can surely be spread out if you want to, but I couldn't get away from the computer screen!
Fun and Unusual

Emerald City Confidential is like no game I've played before. It's part point and click, part puzzle, part strategy, and all of this is set against the story of Oz. Using characters from the Oz series of books, along with some new ones, this game tells a compelling story- we follow Petra as she searches for her missing brother. The graphics are tremendous, the story is well-developed (there's a plot), and I thoroughly enjoyed the dark and twisted world of Oz.
A stylish, original, funny game!

Although in a cartoon- like format, Emerald City is not for kids. This is a Noir detective mystery immersed in the bilious and almost evilly green Oz city with zany characters and sharp, funny sophisticated dialog. Many of the characters will be familiar like the Cowardly Lion portrayed as a nasty lawyer but L. Frank Baum wrote 13 books about Oz and many of the persona in this game, although based on characters from his stories, will not be recognized by most players. However, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man and even the little dog, Toto, all appear.

Our heroine is a raven-haired, svelte young lady named Petra who is a disgraced ex-member of Queen Ozma's Royal Guard. She had abandoned her post right in the middle of a war to search for her little brother who had mysteriously disappeared. She is currently working sporadically as a detective when she is hired by one Dee Gale to find Miss Gale's fiancé, Anzel, who is missing and who, it turns out, is a smuggler. Crime is alive and well in Emerald City!

Queen Ozma, whose picture appears in every location like Chairman Mao, has outlawed the practice of magic, so Petra must learn spells secretly to get her out of tricky situations as the plot twists and turns. She must interact with many characters and you will thoroughly enjoy her colorful journey around the kingdom, ferried from one location to another by the Gump Taxi Service, an amazing flying contraption driven by a congenial reindeer.

Of course, Petra will triumph, and that little brother... well, you'll see! There is no violence, gore or vulgar language, but this is a gritty game, highly original with lush graphics, and great voices. Although reasonably easy, it still should satisfy most adventure -sleuths.

great game

I thought this was a very fun game, nice graphics. it's a very good detective game worth the pay. has more than one case and hours of trying to solve cases. the only thing I would improve is the ongoing drag of the storyline how you have to ask so many pointless questions. what i love about it, it's kind of like csi but the wizard of oz version very fun would like to own more games like this.
