 I'm Hooked | | Review Date: February 25, 2009 | | Reviewer: apoem, Bosque Farms, NM USA | I am hooked on this game. I have been playing for a day or two now. In the challenge mode you have some challenges and then a limited amount of time to reach the goal. This game will not appeal to everyone because it is not true to life and it is fairly simple. For someone like me who has little spurts of time to play easy games that don't require a lot of learning time; this is a fun game.

This game can cause serious addiction! | | Review Date: February 6, 2009 | | Reviewer: PT Cruiser, CA USA | I downloaded this game yesterday afternoon, just to see what this Amazon game thing was about. I didn't really intend to play much but ended up playing it for 5 more minutes-5 more minutes-10 more minutes.... So 5 hours later after missing dinner and being up long past my bedtime, I finally quit the game. (This could be a good weight loss tool!)
This game is easy to play, keeps your interest (at least it kept mine) and it's fun. You move from town to town, building homes and estates to each mayor's ideas and you have a certain amount of time to accomplish your goal. It's not anywhere near as involved as a Sim game, but maybe that's nice since you don't have to concentrate as hard. Two thumbs up! |

I would like to see the Collecting Meter visable discreetly all of the time. I've mistakeningly clicked on the Demolish button, better placement or a check would be good.

Top of the Line Game! | | Review Date: February 9, 2009 | | Reviewer: Deborah L. Egan, Calif...O yeah, Colorado now | | I just LOVE these Build A Lot games! They're straight forward, not complicated at all. Build A Lot 3 is the best so far! I finished all 3, including the Super Efficiency levels and had a blast doing it! When playing for Super Efficiency, some levels you really have to move to get them done in time. Some levels take many restarts and you do need a lot of paitence, but I had a blast trying to figure out which method to use to beat the levels. Hope they come out with Build A Lot 4 soon, I'm jonesing! lol I'd recommend these games to anyone, they're simple and fun. Not really complicated like Sim City can be. |
